Anyway, back to business, USDCAD catches my attention. It has been moving upward for the past 2 weeks. However, it looks to have reached the point to resume its downtrend in daily chart. Let’s see. Finally, after waited for weeks, I managed to grab a copy of Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, June 2009 issue. Yes, it is a little difficult to get the latest U.S magazine in Melbourne, Australia. Well, that’s not the point of this post.
I was interviewed by Jayanthi from TASC. I shared about my experience, how did I start up, and some routine of my trading day. Here is the scanned version of my interview.

Nothing shows up during my weekend chart screening. I decided to have a look at Dollar index(NYBOT:DX) to get a feel of over all trend direction. I am looking at the possible move into the zone of 82~83 before downtrend resumes. In other words, I might be looking at a stronger dollar for the coming week.
I am still with my previous call of weaker EURUSD. Short setup is still valid. Let’s see how it develops in the coming week.

I am very keen in watching the development of EURUSD. On daily chart, it sets up a SHORT to me, and looking at weekly chart, we are approaching resistance area. Well, to me, I am only looking at SHORT. In fact, I will establish a small swing trade position soon.

I am not taking this trade (EURJPY) due to bank holidays. UK and U.S banks observe Spring Bank Holiday and Memorial Day. I am not interested in trading during holiday session. Anyway, the chart sets up nicely. It provides a nice short setup for short term trade, however, risk is relatively higher trading during the holiday session. Well, that’s what I think.
