My interview with TASC

by Gav 36 Comments

tascFinally, after waited for weeks, I managed to grab a copy of Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities, June 2009 issue. Yes, it is a little difficult to get the latest U.S magazine in Melbourne, Australia. Well, that’s not the point of this post.

I was interviewed by Jayanthi from TASC. I shared about my experience, how did I start up, and some routine of my trading day. Here is the scanned version of my interview.

Snake oil?? LOL!! You were just selling REALITY, Gavin. After reading a lot of BS in the past few days (I’ve been searching for answers to my very bad tradinig), and getting increasingly frustrated, your interview was a delight to read. It’s refreshingly down-to-earth. No gimmicks. Just very sound advice that if you’ll put in time and effort, use some common sense,it’s not impossible (albeit difficult) to make it in trading. Thank you for sharing. I like your new hairstyle, although the one on your bloglog avatar is very cool too LOL!!

    Well done!

By the way I heard that semi-official and Asia Sovereign are buyers of EURUSD. So if anyone is thinking of shorting EURUSD, think twice.

@TST : Celebrity? I am just another old fart Asian trader. I am not trading currency futures at the moment. Trading spot FX for longer time frame.

@Brendan: Asia Sovereign? Who? Good luck to them as well.

My friend cannot tell me who is the Asia Sovereign.

I am also trading spot forex, mostly for intra day. Currently I am up 1016 pips in the month of June. My trades can be found in my website.

@Brendan, I welcome trading discussion here. However, I notice you’ve been mentioning about your monthly pips profit and trying to lure readers to your website where you are selling some trading courses/ebook.

I guess you are in the wrong place to do self promotion. Too bad…

I have since removed your links.

You are always welcomed for opinions and sharing your comments.
