Update $EURJPY: Are we back to support?

by Gav Leave a Comment

We had a nice sell off at the resistance level. Now, things are getting more interesting. EURJPY has fallen back to previous support area. Let’s see if we can catch some bounces here.

What do you think?

Here is the 4-hr chart.

$EURJPY under pressure?

by Gav Leave a Comment

It looks a little bit heavy for EURJPY in both daily and 4-hour charts. I am flat now. And I might go in with some small short positions later to test water.

What do you think?

Video: Who moved my cheese?

Update [12 Jan 2010]: Apparently, the video has violated some copyrights issues and has been removed. Anyway, check out the book, it is definitely well worth the time.

[Original post]

I read the book years back. A simple story but reveals profound truths about change. It applies to life and, of course, trading.

“It is time to move on!”

Check it out. and enjoy!

Tharp Trader Test

by Gav

I recall I posted this test sometime ago, I thought it might be useful for new readers of this blog. Dr. Van Tharp designed a short online test to introduce trader to some of the issues that might affect his/her trading. Anyway, no harm give it a shot.

Reading: Options for the beginner and beyond

by Gav Leave a Comment

I have been wanting to look into options trading for a long time. I should admit that, it was just pure laziness that stopped me from doing so.  I know how important it is to understand and implement options as part of my overall trading strategy.

So, this year’s Christmas, I bought myself a kindle version of Options for the Beginner and Beyond by W. Edward Olmstead. I need something to get me started from the basic. My understanding of options trading now is pathetic. I have been reading the first 3 chapters, and still going strong.

I am pleasantly surprised by this book and Dr. Olmstead’s writing style. It is easy to read, especially for options noob like me.
