As I mentioned before, I am trading from Jakarta, Indonesia for the next couple of weeks. Here is to show you my offsite office setup. Keep it simple. 🙂 Man, I miss my LCD screens back in Melbourne….

A little update about trading and so
Good day from Jakarta, Indonesia. After stuffing myself with all the delicious Indonesian food over the extended weekend (I did not trade last week due to traveling and NFP etc, to be exact) I am back to the business – Trading.
In my notes, I am looking at the short side of AUD, both AUDUSD and AUDJPY. While I am still working on the entry, the general direction is to the downside. In general, I have a bullish view towards USD, and bearish towards commodities currency for now.
Still adjusting myself to the different trading environment, weather, and time zone. So far so good.
Update 02 December 2009
Just a quick update about this week. Since the week will be filled with interest rate announcements and Non Farm Payroll, market tends to be a little bit funky. And I am travelling to Jakarta, Indonesia this Thursday, so, I reckon, the best choice for me is to take the week off and start fresh next week.
So what am I up to this week? Running some errands, busy packing, making plans, setting up my laptop to make sure I have complete set of tool to trade while away from home, backing up and encypting data and hard drives etc. In addition, I am filling up my Kindle with books to carry along. Man, I love my Kindle. I have been reading more and faster, and I am enjoying reading.
I hope to set up broadband connection in Jakarta as soon as possible after I arrive there, it should be fun and challenging for the coming months.
A walk in the forest
I felt a little bit burnt out last week. I was trying to finish my automated trading programming, busy and troubled by my day job, a little sleeping problem and at the same time doing some trading. Hectic. So, I needed a break from my machine, from the market.
We went to Sherbrooke Forest, Mount Dandenong for a nature walk. I felt really good, and totally forgot about market and my day job. Breathed in fresh air, enjoy the 20 degree celsius weather, that’s just so wonderful.
Here are some shots taken during the walk. Click to enlarge the image.
