Postmortem 27-September-2006

by Gav

Dear diary,

Ah..another losing day. Though the loss is too small to be mentioned, but I got no reason to feel good. In fact, I would categorize this E-mini Nasdaq trade as impulsive. An inside bar immediately after a big down candle is not an nice Long entry. Though the day was choppy, it was tough to trade, at first place, I should not have taken the trade. Blame to myself.

I exited the position earlier after the very next ugly candle. Long tail. It seemed to be telling me buyers were not ready to make a hard push.

Vincent told me that I have a tendency of getting out a trade early, before stop loss is triggered. Uhm…I have to admit that. Maybe, this is really my weakness.

JC had some bad time today, he wrote a good post about trading mistakes Anti Traders

Ah..I just have to trade better. Please, trade better.

Here is the full picture of today’s action in 15-min chart.
