It should be a decent day for YM, though I am not trading it for the time being. I did not see any convincing setup in NQ futures today.

Though it gapped up in the morning, and market looked kinda bullish for the day, my conviction that NQ bulls were weak was rather strong, I would only consider short today. I might be right or wrong, at least I did not get chopped by the weak man NQ. No long position, and no short setup, so no trade.

Tomorrow is the last trading of the week for me. I am leaving to Malaysia on Thursday.

Premarket of NQ is rather flat. No major report released today.

Daily chart of Nasdaq Composite, a lower high was formed last week. Mike did a recap at his site.

I’ll be paying attention to that downward sloping trendline, especially if it stays unbroken and crosses the 50-day moving average. Those two lines could become significant resistance.

For short term trading, I am not bullish at the moment. I am interested in watching if we are heading to 2400 level. Well , just a guessing game.

60 minute chart of NQ, we again come back to the support level which formed since last Monday around 1784. We are still in downtrend, this is supported by negative Adjusted TRIN as well.

I am looking at NQ. Bulls had a nice day. Nasdaq composite bounced from support. I am not going to write too much of market recap. Trader Mike wrote a recap at his blog. From daily chart of Nasdaq Composite, I am staying positive. From 60-min chart, trend turned up and Adjusted TRIN continued ticking up as well, again, I am positive.

Premarket? of NQ is kinda flat, with positive biased. Let’s see if bulls continue its party.

From 60-minute chart of NQ, we are still in downtrend, however, bears seems to be weaker. I see Adjusted TRIN starts ticking up. We are still at support level 1783.25 area.

I am looking at NQ. We have some selling in the premarket. From daily chart of Nasdaq, I am interested in watching if we can stay above trend line. From 60 min chart of NQ, we are still in downtrend with Adjusted TRIN stays negative and from buyer/seller indicator, sellers are still dominating.

Slightly negative view, but I doubt bears are strong enough. Let’s see.

That was a boring day for NQ trading. Though it did break the support level that I was looking at, I have no valid entry setup after that. I called it a day around lunch hour. No trade. Here is the full picture after closing bell.

I do not intend to start another strategy for Futures trading now, instead I will stay with my current style of trading , be patient to wait for opportunity and complete my 100 dummy trades. As a supplement to my trading, I am starting my stocks options trading studies. Basically I know nothing about Options. So I will start seaching for reading articles, books and trading strategies. As usual, all educational materials will be posted here.
