I have been wanting to look into options trading for a long time. I should admit that, it was just pure laziness that stopped me from doing so. I know how important it is to understand and implement options as part of my overall trading strategy.
So, this year’s Christmas, I bought myself a kindle version of Options for the Beginner and Beyond by W. Edward Olmstead. I need something to get me started from the basic. My understanding of options trading now is pathetic. I have been reading the first 3 chapters, and still going strong.
I am pleasantly surprised by this book and Dr. Olmstead’s writing style. It is easy to read, especially for options noob like me.

When you're done with that, read Option Volatility & Pricing by Natenberg. Its considered the bible on understanding option volatilty.
